It’s fun exploring this arty neighbourhood which with its tree-lined streets and numerous parklands feels like an urban village.
Broadway, running through the middle of Crouch End, is overflowing with unusual stores, independent coffee houses and the iconic Clock Tower. There’s long-standing Dunn’s Bakery that specialises in artisan bread and sourdough and plenty of cafes and bars spill out onto the pavement. Of course, if you just want to make the most of the great outdoors then take the ‘Parkland Walk’ a former railway line that connects Alexandra Park to the north of Crouch End with Finsbury Park in the south. It provides 4.5 miles of tranquillity and contains a remarkable range of habitats and wildlife.
